Teacher Induction Information

The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requires all teachers holding a Preliminary Credential to be enrolled in a Commission approved Teacher Induction Program. Glendora Unified School District is a part of the Foothill Consortium Teacher Induction Program which supports new teachers in Glendora USD as well as those in West Covina, Charter Oak, Claremont and Bonita Unified School Districts to earn their Clear Credential. Foothill Consortium is committed to providing meaningful, job embedded induction experience for all enrolled candidates. Through collaboration with a trained mentor, induction candidates will receive assistance with all aspects of their classroom practice.

Clear Administrative Services Credential
 

The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing requires all administrators holding a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential to be enrolled in a Commission approved Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) Induction Program once they begin their service as an administrator.  Sponsored by Glendora Unified, Foothill Consortium is a Commission-approved CASC provider, supporting new administrators in West Covina Unified, Bonita Unified, Charter Oak Unified, Claremont Unified, Glendora Unified, and other neighboring districts and private schools.  Through collaboration with a trained Coach, induction candidates receive assistance with all aspects of their leadership practice.
