GHS & WHS Students participated in annual GUSD Teen Summit

On Friday, Feb. 7, fifty five students from GHS and WHS brainstormed ways to help the homeless people in our community and assembled over 300 care packages to donate to the Shepherd's Pantry.  Debbie Lopez, Shawn Morrissey, Karen Davis and Craig Cerro guided the students through small group sessions.  Items in the care packages were donated by the students and the following organizations:  Chick-fil-A, TUPE grant, Key Club, National Honor Society, and the WHS Leadership.
A big thanks to Melissa Germann for coordinating this outstanding event.
