 Although there is no one formula for how one becomes eminent in their field, it is valuable to learn from the lives of accomplished individuals, their commitment to their chosen profession and how talent comes to fruition. Dr. Susan Paik, Associate Professor at Claremont Graduate University, and her team of assistants will discuss their research which revolves around this question: "How can parents, teachers and mentors help children develop and realize their true potential?"

 Welcome to a family of students, parents, teachers, and administrators whose overall goal is to ensure that students who demonstrate outstanding ability or potential are helped to make the most of their unique gifts and capabilities.  The GATE department is committed to a classroom environment that fosters achievement and the realization of each GATE student's potential through differentiated instruction.




The Glendora Unified School District seeks to provide a Gifted and Talented Educational Program that utilizes qualitatively different instructional strategies for those students who demonstrate exceptional intellectual capacity and high achievement in order to meet the unique needs of the gifted student.
