GUSD 5th Graders Participate in YesCity Gov program

Mrs. Linthicum's 5th grade class conducts a mock city council meeting at the Glendora city chambers on December 2 as part of the YesCity Gov program created by Board member Cory Ellenson and Council member Judy Nelson. All 5th grade students in the district will take their turn debating the issues of cutting down the ficus trees down town or adding a dog park in Glendora this month. 


 

GUSD 5th Graders Participate in 'Democracy in Action'

5th graders across the district voted in a mock election for Democracy in Action, a program funded through the Ludwick Foundation.
