Sellers Extended Day Care Students participated in a walk-a-thon to donate money to the Glendora Community Conservancy. The students raised over one thousand dollars. A total of 31 trees were planted in the “Children’s Forest” on Colby Trail where the recent fire occurred. The California Conservation Core was on hand to assist the students. The largest tree was dedicated to Alison Giardinelli-Brunetta, daughter of GUSD employee Fran Giardinelli, who passed away from breast cancer in February.

Parents enjoyed watching their students “do laps” with trikes, bikes, and scooters. The preschool students also colored eggs and baskets for the springtime egg hunt, which was enjoyed by all.
